Exciting News from the IN-SALADS Experience!

The IN-SALADS project has successfully concluded, leaving a lasting impact on all involved. This incredible journey has promoted sustainability in food and nutrition by engaging adults and educators in training and cultural exchange through digital tools. By sharing recipes from around the world and preparing sustainable salads locally, the project fostered a strong sense of community, inclusion, and cultural appreciation.

Implemented in Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Croatia, the initiative provided adult educators with specialized training in sustainability and digital storytelling. This training led to the creation of a series of cooking video tutorials, available here: IN-SALADS Recipes.
A key highlight was the Social Hackathon Umbria, held in Bevagna, Italy, in July 2024. The IN-SALADS team participated in the contest, which focused on social inclusion, innovation, and digital literacy. Together, they co-developed an app that has generated significant interest across various sectors. This achievement was further reinforced by the final dissemination event, which drew a great number of  participants.
The event successfully shared the IN-SALADS methodology and results with a diverse audience, including educators, professionals in social and digital innovation, sustainability advocates, and supporters of intercultural exchange. It also welcomed young students from local and national high schools, NEETs, and individuals from vulnerable communities, creating a truly inclusive and inspiring experience.
